The Ensō Body Exfoliator is West Africa’s best kept secret in skincare. Known as Sapō, an African word for sponge, this 100% nylon mesh gently exfoliates by removing dead skin, unclogs pores while improving skin tone and softness. Use with your favorite Ensō handmade coconut oil bar soap for a luscious lather leaving your skin exfoliated and cleansed without stripping the skin of its natural oils. Added bonus is that it does not hold odor or bacteria!! Simply rinse after each use and hang to dry. Dries fast which makes it ideal for gym or travel. Safe to use on face and body.
Cut in the traditional length stretching up to 55" for full body coverage. Our scrubs are imported from Ghana and will last 3-5 years or more. This will replace your wash cloth making it ideal for water conservation reducing your laundry loads.

Color Therapy
Available in the 7 primary Chakra colors:
Red represents the Root Chakra or Muladhara. This is the first of the 7 primary cahkras represented by the color red and associated with security, safety, survival, physical identity, and grounding. The Root Chakra provides our foundation of which we build our life. Knowledge of ourselves is power. “I AM”.
Orange represents the Sacral Chakra or Svadhishthana. This is the second of the 7 primary chakras represented by the color orange and associated with the emotional body, sexuality, sensuality and creativity. Its element is water and as such, its energy is characterized by flow and flexibility. The function of the sacral chakra is directed by the principle of pleasure. “I FEEL”.
Yellow represents the Solar Plexus Chakra or Manipura. The third of the 7 primary chakras. It characterized by the expression of will, personal power, and mental abilities. Its element is fire and air, as such, its energy is connected to the sun, heat, light and all forms of power. Located between the navel and the lower part of the chest this Chakra is connected to intuition and the digestive feeling which is why you are told to “follow your gut”. Its main function is to help transform matter into energy to fuel your body. The Solar Plexus directs the inner-self power of “I DO”.
Green represents the Anahata or Heart Chakra is the 4th of the seven primary chakras. It is associated with balance, serenity and calmness. This chakra allows you to transform your ego and the needs of your lower chakras to open up for love and compassion. Through balance you find this center from which you can love, form healthy nourishing relationships and give & receive love. The function of the heart chakra is directed by the principle of love and transformation. “I LOVE”.
Turquoise represents the fifth of the 7 primary chakras. The Throat Chakra or Vishudda is represented by the color turquoise or aquamarine blue and is associated with the element of sound. Through the throat, the sound is propagated into the air and its vibration can be felt not just in our ears, but also in our whole body. It is an important instrument of communication and expression. “I SPEAK”.
Dark Blue represents the Third Eye Chakra or Ajna. This is the sixth of the 7 primary chakras represented by the color dark blue. Located on the forehead between the eyebrows, it is the center of intuition and foresight. The function of the third eye is driven by the principle of openness and imagination. “I SEE”.
Purple represents the Crown Chakra or Sahasrara. Located at the top of the head, it gives us access to higher states of consciousness as we open to what is beyond. The function of the Crown Chakra is driven by consciousness, and transcendence of our limitations. “I UNDERSTAND”.
Gray represents balance. It carries the energy of zen, balance, and calmness. "I AM CALM"
How to Use
Wet and apply your body wash or soap. Rub with hands to activate lather. Massage all over body. Rinse and air dry. Use daily or as needed.
Best used with any of our handmade coconut oil bar soaps. Using this body exfoliator with cleansing bars or detergents will lead to dry irritated skin. This product can be washed in washing machine.
Gentle enough to use daily all over, especially rough feet, elbows, back acne, mask acne and scalp.

I love being able to exfoliate as I bathe. This is my second Sapo. I don't want to use anything else. I also love the soaps. The icing on the cake was the gift they sent with my order and a personal note from the owner.
I usually buy burts bees lip balm but was excited to see Enso had their own all-natural version. "Namaste Cool" now makes sense because my lips feel cool and tingly from the peppermint and it's almost like I can taste the grapefruit (without licking my lips). It's all around a very nice experience. It almost smells like chocolate mint, but maybe it's the sweet grapefruit notes my brain is mistaking for chocolate. Either way, it has a nice scent that is heavier on the peppermint side. I'm curious to see how this holds up in summer Texas heat, may have to leave it at home, but so far so good. I like the product. My lips feel moisturized and I love the sleek packaging.
Being a single woman I never can quite reach the middle of my back in the shower. I was hesitant to try this because I thought it would be like one of those shower poofs I've used in the past. I used it for the first time and I am blown away. Unlike the shower poofs that have a single "thread" net (I'm making this stuff up but trying to explain well.) the sapo is like a multi-textured "thread" that makes up the net. When I moved it back and forth on my back and neck I felt like I was at a spa getting a scrub down. Wow. My skin feels so smooth and exfoliated. In the past, I've also tried those natural fiber back scrubbers on a stick and I never could get good enough pressure to feel like it did anything. They also had to be replaced often because they would eventually stink. With the Sapō I got hard enough pressure that actually exfoliated, and I saw on the packaging that it will last up to 5 years and doesn't hold bacteria. I got the yellow color; it is so vibrant and makes me happy. I just read the product description for the yellow chakra and it says "The Solar Plexus directs the inner-self power of 'I DO'. Ha ha! Well, I may need to "I don't" for a bit longer because currently with this thing I can scratch my own back. But if Mr. Right does come along- I know what I'm going to buy him.... (-:
I tried this product for the first time and I'm now telling everyone I know about it. It has definitely elevated my shower routine. First the soap- lightly scented but not too strong, it lathers great and is very moisturizing. I held it by the nubs and lathered it up with the sapo on the flat side. Second, here's where it gets even better... the nubs y'all.... THE NUBS! My neck and shoulders are always tight so I used that side to massage up and down my neck. It was wonderful. I travel a lot and I am a bit obsessed with objects that serve 2 or more purposes. This bar checks all the boxes.... 1) Body Bar 2) Face Bar 3) Nubby Massage Bar Never thought soap could be this good. Will purchase this again and I already plan to give some as gifts.

I’m an old time customer that was ordering from enso long before it became what it is now. The Yoga bar was always my favorite because of the smell.
