Tamara Johnson, Owner and Founder

Tamara Johnson, Owner + Founder - has completed 300YTT.  She teaches Zen Vibes each Wednesday at 7p, a fun-filled yoga experience that will guide you thru a variety of fun vinyasa sequences that include a little power, a little yin, and a whole lot of ZEN.  This class focuses on opening your hearts & hips with the option to participate in our splits challenge.  Come join us on the mat and enjoy heart-centered movement, good music + great vibes delivering the Dose of Zen you'll need for the rest of the week!

Class duration: 60 minutes. All levels. Beginners are welcome. 

 

Dimitrius Glenn, Yoga Program Director - brings 15+ years experience in athletic training.  He offers an high-energy class called Yoga Fit each Saturday at 10a & Monday at 7p, that fuses functional movement + traditional yoga poses.  Perfect for the yogi's that want a more cardio/athletic experience.  He also co-leads Zen for Men, a Self-Care Saturday workshop that is offered each month that helps men in diverse communities overcome the stigma of practicing yoga.

Class duration: 60 minutes. All levels. Beginners are welcome. 

Jasmin Kyle, Lead Instructor - has completed 200YTT and brings so much passion to the mat.  She has started a movement with the yoga wheel!  Her popular Trap Yoga class that occurs each Thursday at 7p, empowers our yogi's to bring their best self to the mat!  Need some cardio?  Jasmin also hosts Yoga + Beats each Tuesday at 7p, combining healing dance movement, yoga sequences + afro beats!!  Her amazing energy and infectious smile will have you coming back for more!  Be ready to sweat, align + have tons of fun!

Mahogany Wilson, Yoga Instructor - has completed 200YTT and licensed therapist.  Her class Trap & Chill each Sunday at 2p, offers a therapeutic yoga experience that guides you through gentle yin yoga poses and introspective journaling prompts accompanied by soft hip hop beats.  This amazing combination offers your body a restorative deep stretch that incorporates the mindfulness practice of journaling improving your mental health.  Ready to relax?  Grab your mat and your journal and join us on the mat.  

Class duration: 60 minutes. All levels. Beginners are welcome. 

Shabaka Azibo, Meditation Instructor - a Certified Ananda Meditation Teacher who also holds a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Certification. He teaches Lessons in Meditation each Sunday at 11a, a class that will encourage you to practice intention and mindfulness in all areas of your life.  Shabaka will guide you thru effective techniques such as breath work, energization and interiorization to deepen your meditation practice. For several years Shabaka has been practicing Kriya Yoga as taught by Ananda Sangha and brought to America by Paramahansa Yogananda in 1920.  Shabaka also co-leads Zen for Men, a Self-Care Saturday workshop that is offered each month that helps men in diverse communities overcome the stigma of practicing yoga. If you are ready to take your meditation practice to the next level, do not miss this class!

Class duration: 60-75 minutes. All levels. Beginners are welcome.

Studio Etiquette

  • Please arrive 10-15 minutes early 
  • Please remove your shoes before entering the studio
  • Please turn off all devices to prevent any class disruptions
  • Please keep at least 6ft distance between you and your neighbor on the mat
  • Please notify your instructor of any injuries before class
  • If you need to leave early, please leave before Savasana (rest time after practice)
  • Finally, please be safe and have fun!
